DUTY MANAGER POSITION:

What we’re looking for:

🔘 Availability across 7 days of the week (including occasional 2am closes)
🔘 Available for 35-40 hours per week (salary option available for the right applicant)
🔘 Strong product knowledge including TAB & Gaming experience.
🔘 Leads by example (actions not words)
🔘 Can communicate effectively and work closely with staff of all personalities!
🔘 Is a team player with a fun, light-hearted approach to managing people.
🔘 Has a minimum 1 year DM experience (in pub or club)
🔘 Has all relevant certificates.
🔘 Solution based person - not a problem creator!
🔘 Doesn’t shy away from getting their hands dirty ~ eg wiping tables and cleaning!

We are seeking energetic, positive-minded, customer-focussed individuals that have a passion for hospitality and are TEAM players!

You must have:

✅ Minimum 1 year ‘pub’ experience. (DM must have 1 year DM experience)
✅ RSA certificate.
✅ Reasonable understanding of stock control and flow.
✅ Ability to carry 3 plates and pour a beer!
✅ Solid food service skills with respect to order taking, meal delivery and customer interactions.
✅ Consistent availability across 7 days of the week (including nights and weekends)
✅ Ability to work with others - and accept constructive feedback!
✅ Ability to provide solutions - not create more issues! 😜

Hours will vary depending on requirements of the applicant. It could be 10 hours or it could be 40.

Busy, local, family friendly hotel close to the beach in the ‘less hectic’ suburb of Glenelg South.

DUTY MANAGER position:
🔘 At least 2 years experience in similar role.
🔘 Strong F&B and gaming knowledge is essential.
🔘 All relevant certificates!
🔘 Team player - leads by actions not just words!
🔘 Task oriented - able to follow the instructions of management and implement accordingly.
🔘 Hands on role - we are not after somebody to sit in an office!
🔘 Consistent availability across 7 days/nights.
🔘 Salaried role available for the right candidate.
