Today we’re celebrating a pretty extraordinary milestone, 25 years of Tom French at Palmer Hospitality Group.
Tom’s journey started back in 2001, before working his way through the ranks to become Venue Manager at the Warradale Hotel. Since then, he’s survived renovations, changing trends, countless menu updates, generations of staff and, we suspect, several versions of “this new system will make everything easier.”
After 25 years, Tom isn’t really an employee anymore. At this point, he’s practically listed under fixtures and fittings.
But the best part of Tom’s PHG story might just be the one that happened outside the roster. Along the way he met the formidable Steph from The Highway, and together they’ve built a beautiful family with Patrick, Ethan and Siobhan, all frequent visitors who are now dangerously close to being added to the asset register too.
Tom’s contribution to PHG runs incredibly deep. His loyalty, knowledge, relationships and commitment to our people and venues have helped shape the business we are today.
25 years is bloody special. Congratulations Tom, and thank you for being such an important part of our story.
