This townhouse project showcases a considered approach to multi-residential design, creating comfortable and functional homes while making effective use of the available site.

The design considers the things that matter in everyday living, including:
• Functional and efficient floor plans
• Vehicle access and circulation
• Privacy and usable outdoor areas
• Natural light and ventilation
• Landscaping and streetscape presentation
• Practical, durable finishes

Good building design is about creating spaces that look good, work well and support everyday life.

At Humac Group, we focus on practical building design solutions that balance function, compliance, buildability and the needs of the end user.

A successful commercial building needs to do more than look good, it needs to work for the business operating within it.

From vehicle access and site circulation to storage, workflow and staff requirements, these considerations need to be addressed early in the design process.

Good design considers how a business operates today, while allowing flexibility for the future.

Gemma recently attended a fantastic Women in Construction event at Century Cranes, and it was certainly a little different from the usual workday!
From hearing from inspiring guest speaker Paralympian Grant ‘Scooter’ Patterson and connecting with others across the industry, to getting up close with some impressive machinery, there was plenty to enjoy.
The afternoon included city views from the man cage, a suspended DJ, great food and refreshments, and even the opportunity to have a go at operating a crane.
It was a great afternoon of connecting, learning and sharing experiences with women from across the construction industry.
A big thank you to the Women in Construction FNQ Committee and Century Cranes for putting together such a memorable event.

A recently completed project in Bungalow, this mixed-use warehouse development was designed to meet the client’s commercial and operational requirements.
The development brings together warehouse, office and public-use spaces, with a focus on functionality, safety and efficient use of the site.
From cold room storage and administrative areas to a dedicated dance studio, each element was carefully considered to create a practical and well-coordinated development.
Another project brought to completion through thoughtful design, collaboration and attention to detail.

Most people only ever see the finished building.

What they don’t see are the conversations, revisions, mark-ups, and problem-solving sessions that happen long before construction begins.

A wall shifts 300mm.
A service clashes with structure.
A client objective changes.
A consultant identifies a risk.
The design evolves again.

Good projects are rarely the result of one big idea.
They are the result of hundreds of coordinated decisions made early and made well.

Behind every successful project is careful planning, collaboration, and attention to detail long before the first footing is poured.

At Humac Group, collaboration is not just a meeting scheduled into the calendar, it is embedded into the way we work every day to deliver thoughtful, practical, and buildable outcomes across Queensland.
