This was my first batch of Worcestershire sauce back in 2021 in Portugal, where itโ€™s known as Molho Inglรชs ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น or English Sauce ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น

Apples, plums, tamarind, chilli, cloves, pepper, allspice and treacle, then left to ferment and develop that deep, rich flavour. Itโ€™s always been a slow process, but well worth the wait.

Since then Iโ€™ve heard it called all sorts of thingsโ€ฆ one customer here says itโ€™s known as โ€œWash Your Sister sauceโ€ in their house. ๐Ÿ˜„
Iโ€™m half tempted to do a limited run of labelsโ€ฆ

Iโ€™ve just laid down a new batch this week and I also have a limited number of bottles that have been maturing for 9 months ready to go.

Iโ€™m delighted to have secured a permanent pitch this year, so youโ€™ll be able to find me at every market with my small-batch, award winning marmalades, chutneys, relishes and sauces.

Everything is made in my registered kitchen in Yorkeys K**b, using seasonal produce and traditional recipes.

Iโ€™m really looking forward to another year under the palms and to seeing plenty of familiar faces again.
