South Africa’s cult-classic theatre troupe, Baked Shakespeare, is in its 6th season (after sold-out runs across Cape Town, London, and the Edinburgh Fringe)! Join us for our chaotic take on the world’s most famous love story: Romeo and Juliet.

Two star-crossed lovers from conflicting families fall into a reckless, all-consuming love and defy everyone to be together (think 2010s playlists full of Taylor Swift). Also: duels, banishment, and cruel twists of fate that spiral everything out of control!

Not really a tragedy (although it’s very tragic), not really a comedy (although it’s very funny), this is the most iconic ROMANCE ever written. Move over Twilight, Romeo and Juliet are in the house!

Baked Shakespeare’s trippy take on Romeo and Juliet delivers electric chemistry, playful audience interaction (but no peer pressure we promise), outrageous musical numbers, and, of course … explosive sword fights, iconic moments, and a balcony that we can definitely afford to build!

Benny is Romeo’s cousin and bestie bro. More level-headed than their other friend Mercutio, but still a joller (but in a very sweet way - like he’d be the one to take you to medical at a festival if the trip got rough). He also LOVES his bat!

Some Father's Day gifts get forgotten by Monday.

This one comes with guitars.

On Sunday 21 June, Frost & Gunn return to Daisy Jones for an afternoon of blues, rock and the kind of musical chemistry that can't be rehearsed.

Albert Frost remains one of South Africa's most formidable guitar players. Equal parts finesse and fire, he can whisper through a melody one moment and tear the roof off the next. Alongside him, Jake Gunn swaps his usual guitar duties for the piano, bringing a different texture to a show built on spontaneity, instinct and years of musical friendship.

Expect songs from The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Nick Cave and the blues masters that inspired them, alongside originals that have earned both musicians loyal followings around the country.

Just two exceptional musicians following the music wherever it wants to go.

Bring your dad. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Or simply claim a spot on the veranda, order a pizza, pour a glass of wine and spend a winter Sunday exactly as it should be spent.
