We’re combining two of our favorite things for one very delicious night at the Wine Vault.

Can you recognize the warmer, riper style of California? Pick out the cooler-climate character of Oregon? Figure out what makes Washington stand apart?

Make your guesses, defend your decisions, and then we’ll reveal the wines and find out WHERE WE ARE!

🍕🍷 Pizza night is getting a Wine Vault upgrade.

On Monday, September 21, we’re tackling a pairing that everyone loves — WINE & PIZZA!

But here’s the thing: not every wine works with every pizza.

The wine you want with a classic red sauce can be completely different from what you’d pour with something creamy, spicy or loaded with toppings.
So naturally, we decided the best way to figure it out was to eat pizza and drink wine. We take our research very seriously around here. 😉

Throughout the evening, we’ll taste different wines alongside different pizzas and discover how the sauce, cheese, toppings, acidity and spice can completely change what happens in your glass.

The goal? By the end of the night, you’ll know how to pick a bottle for pizza night without standing in front of the wine rack wondering what in the world goes with pepperoni.

We’re heading WEST for Wine Vault Academy this month, with California, Oregon and Washington taking center stage — but we’ve also managed to squeeze in a trip to Spain, some pizza, a little Greece and plenty of Pour Decisions along the way. 😉
And it all starts TOMORROW NIGHT!

We’re kicking off our West Coast adventure with the perfect introduction to the wines of California, Oregon and Washington. We’ll taste, learn and figure out what makes each of these regions so different — and why there’s so much more to West Coast wine than Napa Cabernet.
