Every great story starts somewhere. Origin Story brings two of our own modern classics, The Revolver and The Black Manhattan, together in a single coupe, poured around a hollow ice sphere. Bourbon and coffee liqueur on one side, rye and amaro on the other. Limited availability, so don’t wait for the sequel. 🥃

CASE NO. 0108: Blood on the Sun

The evidence suggests a gin fizz, but the trail runs red. We found tomato water gin, Siete Misterios Doba-Yej mezcal, Bernard Sërpoul Wild Thyme, lemon and tomato water. There’s a scorched red pepper syrup with smoke still on it, and the whole thing rests under a pale veil of cream and egg white.

A temperance version exists for those who keep a clear head on the job. It’s built with Aqara Agave de Los Andes Refugio and Free Spirits The Spirit of Gin.

Now open for discovery at Wilson & Wilson. Appointments by reservation only. 🔎

✨Banana Bliss✨
Some cocktails whisper of far-off harbors and forgotten cellars... Banana Bliss begins with aged Armagnac and island rum, deepened by a rare Italian walnut liqueur and the warmth of banana and cane spirit, finished with a whisper of cinnamon and orange. The result is smoky, sweet, and quietly complex. A drink that unfolds slowly, the way all good secrets do. Discover it now in the main bar at Bourbon & Branch.

New on the menu: the Chicago Fizz.

Born in the back-bar ledgers of pre-Prohibition Chicago, this one was built for drinkers who wanted rum and wh***ey in the same glass; a compromise that somehow became a classic. Our version leans into that history: Appleton Signature Blend Rum meets Sol Tarasco Charanda for a funkier, more agricole-leaning backbone, rounded out with Graham's Six Grapes Reserve Port for depth and a whisper of dried fruit.
Lemon juice and dark gomme syrup keep it balanced, a super foam gives it that pillowy, old-world head, and a top of Fever Tree Club Soda lifts the whole thing into something bright, effervescent, and dangerously easy to order twice.

Some secrets are worth sharing. 🐝 The Bee's Knees was born behind doors like ours — honey to soften the gin, gin to loosen the lips. For Bee's Knees Week (June 12–21), we're pouring three: the Classic, the Pollen Collins (Barr Hill Tom Cat gin, Dolin Blanc, crème de cassis, lemon, salted honey, soda), and the Honey Vesper (Barr Hill gin, St. George citrus vodka, Lillet Blanc). Order one, post it, tag — every pour plants a square foot of pollinator habitat. Mum's the word. The bees, however, may talk... 😉

Books on the walls. Wh***ey in the glass. A door that doesn't look like a door. The Library is open every night — no reservation, just the password. 🔐

Look once. Look again. 🥃

The Double Take — reposado tequila, Borghetti caffè, Amaro Woodlands, Nardini Virtu di Rabarbaro, and a whisper of chocolate and orange, shaken and poured over crushed ice. Finished with fresh mint and grated cinnamon. The kind of drink that makes you stop mid-conversation and reconsider everything.

One of over 20 new cocktails dropping soon. The new menu is coming — and it's worth the wait... 🕯
