The Metropolitan Club was Est. in 1915. Over 100 yrs later, “The House That Women Built” provide Our Spa is now booking appointments.

Due to COVID-19, Our gym and Tennis Courts are open by appointment. We also offer Take-out every week.

Last week, members gathered for a "backyard" barbecue-themed Meet & Mingle! From lawn games and festive bites to meaningful conversations and new connections, the evening was a wonderful reminder of what makes our community so special.

Did you know that the Metropolitan Club is the first women's athletic club west of Chicago?

Founded in 1915, our stunning Sutter Street clubhouse was designed by architects Bliss & Faville and has been a home for Bay Area women for over 110 years.

This , we are grateful for the trailblazing women who built this space and for the incredible community that continues to thrive here today.
