Cherrity Bar was established in 2017 and was created to support a diverse array of non-profit charities. Although our model has had to change a bit due to the global pandemic, we have evolved to continue our mission in the current landscape. Our mission is to promote awareness of a multitude of conditions and services offered in the community and to provide financial support for these organization
s by toasting them with your favorite beverage of choice in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where all are welcome. Non-profit organizations are invited to fill out a form on our website to be considered as an upcoming charity, each month patron’s are asked to vote for the next charity via QR code. The selected charities are notified and those that are not are invited to reapply to be considered again for the following round of votes. Throughout any given month, there are several ways to give back when you dine with us:
🍒 $1 from every cherrity cocktail sold will be donated (each monthly charity has a themed cocktail created by our talented bar staff)
🍒 Each cherrity has two ‘Giveback Days’ each month where we donate 10% of sales from the day
🍒 There is also a Charity Pool line on your receipt where you can put any dollar amount towards the month’s cherrity and it is donated directly
Information about the charity is available on the website and ideally, each nonprofit encourages its supporters to visit the Cherrity Bar each month and hosts some events in the space. Cherrity Bar also serves as a great venue, we have a great location and our Events and Catering team are able to accommodate almost any ask. We have held fundraisers and large events like the San Antonio Magazine BBQ Fest as well as host ticketed concert series utilizing our outdoor stage. If you have questions about utilizing our space for your event please email: [email protected]
If you are interested in off-site catering of any kind, please inquire at [email protected]
In keeping with one of San Antonio’s newer entertainment trends, the seating area is family friendly, offering a place for kids to play — including sensory rooms for children with special needs who need a quiet place — while adults play in their own way.
