My dear friend created a Go Fund Me site for medical expenses associated with the dog mauling that happened last Monday. I’ll spare you another photo of my wounds, as instagram has decided they were too atrocious to look at. If you would like to donate $10 there is a link in my bio and any and everything is, of course, greatly appreciated. I have to say, I have been blown away by the support and kind words from not only my friends, but complete strangers, including other victims of dog attacks, that have sent well wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery. It has most certainly kept me in good spirits and reassured me that the world is full of genuinely kind and caring people, more so than the opposite. Thank you.

The whole story of my incident can be found , including how the man handling the dog, Tyler Bates, ended up in the ER next to me. Somehow he got a room and I was treated in the hallway. So it is. I’m just happy to be alive and would like to thank Monica, who apparently lives on SE 52nd St, for stopping to help me when she did. I don’t know you, but I thank you.
