🎃🏴‍☠️ A Very OMTAE Halloween — Day 5!

Five days. Five costumes. And Rose wondered if Bob would EVER get it right!

A giant pumpkin. A bumblebee with a backside that needed its own parking space. A mad scientist who nearly destroyed her kitchen!

Tonight was the Halloween Ball. ✨

Rose wore an emerald-green witch's gown, with black lace.

And Bob?

There stood a handsome pirate, with a smile that could melt the heart of any witch.

Bob: "Well, now... aren't you a beautiful bit of trouble."

Rose: "And you, Captain, are finally dressed properly."

Bob grinned and pulled her onto the dance floor.

The music swelled, and there was no one else in the world.

Just a pirate and his beautiful witch. ❤️

Neither noticed the shadowy figure...

Our little Reaper had grown into a full-sized specter!

Judging by that grin, he had something planned.

But that's a story for another night. 🎃

Because a little love is the most powerful magic. 💖

🎃⚡ A Very OMTAE Halloween — Day 4!

Rose had been gone for less than an hour.

Surely Bob couldn't get into too much trouble.

WRONG! 😂

Something was bubbling. And something smelled like burnt peppers!

OH. MY. GOODNESS!

Test tubes everywhere! Beakers bubbling with green liquids!

There stood Bob, goggles, lab coat, and gloves dripping with something Rose REALLY didn't want to identify.

Our little Reaper was stretched out on the kitchen table!

Bob raised the Reaper's scythe and shouted...

⚡ "IT LIVES!!!" ⚡

One tiny skeletal hand rose from the table.

Rose: "BOB! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

Bob: "SCIENCE, sweetheart! SCIENCE!"

Rose: "That's my KITCHEN!"

Bob: "Well... technically, it's a laboratory now."

Daizy decided this was a very good time to take a nap.

Four days into Halloween week, and Rose is beginning to wonder if she should have bought Bob a pirate costume! 🏴‍☠️😂

The madness isn't over yet!

🎃🐝 A Very OMTAE Halloween — Day 3!

A few old friends, a crackling fire, warm c***r, laughter.

And then there was Rose...

Dressed as a woodland fairy, with a crown of white roses, and wings that shimmered in the firelight.

She looked magical. ❤️

And her handsome companion?

Bob came dressed as a GIANT BUMBLEBEE! 🐝😂

Enormous wings, and a backside that needed its own parking space!

The laughter started the moment he arrived.

But Bob didn't care.

He took Rose's hand, began dancing beneath the twinkling lights.

Rose: "You know, you're actually a very handsome bee."

Bob: "Does that mean I finally found the perfect costume?"

Rose: "Don't push your luck, sweetheart."

And as their friends laughed, our little Reaper peeked from behind a barrel, already plotting mischief.

Because at OMTAE, the most ridiculous moments can be a little magical.

And sometimes love really does give you wings. ❤️🐝

🎃🦇 A Very OMTAE Halloween — Day 2!

After yesterday's pumpkin party, Rose was looking forward to a quiet evening.

The jack-o'-lanterns were glowing, and she had settled onto the porch swing with a steaming cup of tea.

Daizy was snoozing, and even our little Reaper had curled up for a nap.

Until...

From the shadows emerged a terrifying creature of the night!

Slicked-back hair. Enormous fangs. A black cape with a red collar. And enough face paint to frighten a ghost!

Bob raised his hands, bared his fangs, and let out his most bloodcurdling...

"BWAHAHAHA!" 🧛

Rose looked up from her tea, smiled sweetly, and said,

Rose: "You're so cute!"

Bob: "CUTE?! I'm supposed to be TERRIFYING!"

Rose took another sip of tea.

"Of course you are, sweetheart." ❤️

A little Reaper slept through the whole performance.

Poor Bob. Two costumes down, and Halloween is still days away! 😂

🎃🐝 A Very OMTAE Halloween! 🎃🌶️

The Spookiest Time of the Year!

Rose decided a pumpkin-carving party would be the perfect way to kick off Halloween week!

The neighborhood kids arrived, the c***r was warm, the pumpkins were plentiful, and everyone was having a wonderful time.

Even our little Reaper joined in, although someone probably should have explained that a scythe isn't exactly the best pumpkin-carving tool! 💀

Everything was going beautifully...

Until Bob appeared on the porch.

Dressed as an enormous pumpkin.

Rose stared. The children burst into laughter.

And Bob, looking genuinely confused, announced:

"I thought you said it was a pumpkin party!" 🎃😂

Oh, Bob. It's going to be a VERY long Halloween week!

Stay tuned. The spooky season is just getting started!
