Today, the gates of my beloved Texas Renaissance Festival open, and my heart overflows with gratitude as I celebrate my Golden Anniversary—50 wonderful years as your Empanada Lady, from 1977 to 2026!

What began as a dream has become a lifetime of cherished friendships, hard work, and unforgettable memories. To my adored children, Bobby and Sharon, thank you for standing beside me with endless love and dedication. To my wonderful employees, trusted providers, and the millions of guests who have blessed these years—this celebration belongs to you, too.

Come celebrate with us! Enjoy the music, laughter, delicious food, and magic of the Festival. It will be my joy to welcome familiar faces and new friends.
