The Texas Craft Brewers Guild, along with DeFalco's Home Wine and Beer Supplies and Brigadoon Brewery and Brewing School, are hosting the inaugural Houston Firkin Fest on June 28th.

Participating breweries are:

Karbach Brewing Co.,
Lone Pint Brewery,
New Republic Brewing,
No Label Brewing Company,
Real Ale Brewing Company,

Southern Star Brewing Co.

Each brewery will be serving up cask ale! No CO2 dispensing here. Just naturally carbonated beers dispensed by gravity, old style.

Tickets are $35. Each ticket comes with a souvenir sample glass and eight samples 3 oz samples. Additional samples tickets will be available for sale at the event.

I promised an important announcement this week and hear is what we have been working on.

In keeping with our mission to promote craft beer, Brigadoon Brewery & Brew School LLC is excited to announce that we have partnered with DeFalco's Home Beer & Wine Supplies and the Texas Craft Brewers Guild to bring you Houston Firkin Fest 2014.

So what is Houston Firkin Fest 2014?

We have asked 10 Texas Craft Breweries to join with us on June 28, 2014 from noon to 4:00 pm for a small intimate beer fest. The list of breweries will be posted soon. Each brewery will bring two unique beers which will only be available at the 2014 Houston Firkin Fest.

In order to keep the event intimate we will be limiting admission to only 300 participants. Tickets will go on sale later this week and once they are gone there will be no more
We will be releasing more information to include a list of participating breweries, the type of beer and where to purchase tickets soon.

Until then I would encourage you to like the new Houston Firkin Fest page and stay tuned for the release of tickets as they are sure to go fast.

It is going to be an event not to miss.
