Day Off? More Like Bailey Time. 🐾💜

While everyone else is enjoying their day off, Bailey is enjoying his quiet time with me.

No crowds. No chaos. Just a comfy lap, a few purrs, and the kind of peace that only a cat can appreciate. Sometimes it's easy to forget that our lounge cats enjoy these slower moments just as much as our guests do.

I'd say I'm relaxing... but judging by the look on Bailey's face, I'm actually on furniture duty.

Not a bad way to spend a day off. 💕

🐾 Health Update: Raphael & Penny 🐾

Out of an abundance of caution, Raphael will be heading back to A Tail In Need to spend some time with Penny. He recently started showing mild symptoms including runny eyes and a cough. After everything Penny has been through, we'd rather be safe than sorry.

The health and well-being of our cats is always our top priority. We monitor them closely every day and take any signs of illness seriously so we can act quickly and keep everyone healthy.

Penny Update ❤️

The veterinary team believes Penny may have a fungal infection in her lungs. She is currently being treated with steroids and antibiotics and is resting comfortably. She is scheduled to see her regular veterinarian this week for a recheck and further evaluation.

Please keep Penny and Raphael in your thoughts as they continue their recovery journey. 🐱💜

🐾 Weekend Wrap-Up 🐾

What a weekend! 💜

We wrapped up another completely SOLD OUT weekend at NOLA Cat Lounge, and our hearts are just as full as our reservation book. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to play, relax, cuddle cats, and support rescue animals.

As we close out the weekend, Cleopatra has claimed her favorite window perch and is officially entering "do not disturb" mode. 😴👑

The cats are enjoying a well-earned couple of days to nap, recharge, and prepare for more visitors when we reopen Wednesday.

Thank you for helping us create a space where cats and people can connect, and for supporting our rescue partners with every visit.
