August is National Dog Month, which feels like a pretty good time to celebrate the dogs who have been part of our families, our memories and, in our case, our story from the very beginning.

Jack was the original Stray Dog, and his portrait still has a special place on the mantle in our restaurant. The Jack Fund was created in his honor to help animals in need throughout our community, with a portion of the profits from every Jack Fund shirt donated to local animal charities.

This year’s special-edition tee is a nod to one of our original Stray Dog designs and, of course, the dog who started it all.

For the ones at home beside us, the ones we still miss and the ones still waiting for their people.
