TUESDAY TOAST: 6/9/26

is on its 5th generation of vignerons in the Montagne De Reims! They are making delectable Champagnes with purity! Today we are showcasing a style of Champagne that is now quite out of fashion and rare to find - Demi Sec! A higher dosage to create an off dry Champagne with a richer mouthfeel.

So you know, we are totally obsessed with Champagne! We have a “Completely Irresponsible” and award-winning Champagne list plus our owner John Grisanti is the only CHAMPAGNE MASTER (French Wine Scholar Guild) in Kentucky.

Now we are taking that obsession to new absurdities in our program by launching “TUESDAY TOASTS”

So we will be picking a different cuvee of Champagne from our favorite producers to pour by the glass every Tuesday!

You heard us right! CHAMPAGNE BY THE GLASS – EVERY TUESDAY!

It is going to be an incredible way to try an ever-evolving selection of terroir expressions and house styles. Trust us when we say there won’t be any duds in these picks and we are bound to pull some pretty silly out right bangers along the way!

Australia is a vast landscape but a very unlikely place to grow grapes, but as we will dive deep into the history surrounding it’s relatively young wine growing culture we will also show why it is possible to grow amazing wine there. Our summer GARDEN JAZZ SERIES is back people!

Come by every weekend (Friday & Saturday) in the summer to enjoy jazz in Nouvelle’s garden. You will catch some of Louisville’s finest musicians playing some super deep cuts while you sip on wine and cocktails. It is the grooviest way to enjoy the weekends in the city!

DATES: Fridays & Saturdays: 8pm-10pm

SCHEDULE: Artist roster is posted each month on Instagram (check to see who is playing)

NO COVER CHARGE (Guests are required to order drinks / food if they plan to stay and enjoy the vibes).

Fresh in from our homies with the help of our magical Champagne brother we got a tasty drop of new producers to share with you all and it felt right to feature on this Big Bottle Thursday! Hailing from the village of Verzenay, this is an old family estate with a new school mindset of creating beautiful cuvees! This Blanc de Noirs is sure to tickle your bubble lovin bellies!

THE RHINE RUSH 2026

VISIT #9:
DATE: March 6th, 2026

What an absolute honor to end our Germannwine tour in the heart of the Saar (Mosel) at the uncompromising estate. The Saar is its own side river valley coming off the model which is much cooler due to openings in steep hillsides that allow direct wind flow. was as an absolute incredible host who walked us through a gauntlet tasting of way too many cuvées!

The philosophy to the line up at this estates allows them to produce an absolutely dizzying amount of different cuvées. The use a number system to the barrels that distinguishes which fermentation / elevage vessel was used, on top of single vineyard harvesting and on top of various ripeness levels to each picking. They like to keep each vineyard in the same vessel to see vintage variation but will change the sweetness level as they see fit for balance each year.

All wines go through malo-lactic fermentation to soften the lightning quick acidity. This is also why they often don’t like using the typical GG system of labeling their GG designated vineyards because they believe off-dry is better for the absurdly high acidity level in the wine which would be too harsh if fermented completely trocken.

Wirth Michel is an old family estate with a young mind behind the wines attitude! These are real serious wines that have personality and power behind them. You can’t mistake the underlying character of the chalk soaked Champagne terroir in these wines but you can certainly taste a distinctive identity!
