The Jackalopes would like to raise a glass and offer a heartfelt thank you to Amber Po***ck and the crew at Backwards Distilling Co.
Based in Mills and crafting Wyoming spirits since 2013, Backwards has recently expanded into Laramie, and we couldn't be happier to welcome them to town.
Their tasting room brings something genuinely unique to our community: expertly crafted cocktails, house-made spirits, and an atmosphere that feels equal parts elegant cocktail lounge, circus sideshow, and absinthe parlor. From Ringleader Vodka to Contortionist Gin and beyond, Backwards embraces creativity, whimsy, and a little bit of delightful weirdness, qualities we happen to appreciate around here.
What impresses us most, though, is that they aren't simply opening a business in Laramie. They're actively investing in the community. Their generous support helps keep the movies rolling, the popcorn popping, and our little cult cinema experiment alive and well.
We need businesses willing to bring something new, something imaginative, and something uniquely their own to town. Backwards Distilling Co. has done exactly that, and we're grateful to have them as part of the Laramie community.

P.S. We were informed that they make some pretty incredible cocktails. Any rumors that Dillon claimed he still makes the best cocktails in town remain entirely unverified and under active investigation by the Jackalope Ethics Committee.
