🎨 Behind the Design: WY Artists bring Jubilee Day Poster to Life!

We’re proud to feature the work of Wyoming artist Brittany McCracken as the foundation of this year’s official Laramie Jubilee Days poster.

Brittany McCracken lives in Sublette County, Wyoming with her husband where they enjoy the western way of life. A UW alum, she spends half of the year at a remote cow camp with 5 working Border Collie dogs, 4 cow ponies and 1 camp cat tending cattle in bear and wolf country. The rest of the year she helps on the family ranch and builds all kinds of cowboy gear in her leathershop. Along with preserving the western traditions, art depicting wildlife and the cowboy culture has always been one of her passions. You can find her leather and other artwork on social media under her name or her business name, SquareTop Leather.

Brittany’s artwork inspired this year’s official poster, with the final design created by our new Laramie Jubilee Days Marketing Chair, Kenzie Holmberg of BonaFide Cowboy Media & Productions.

👀 A limited number of commemorative posters featuring this year’s poster will be available during Laramie Jubilee Days! You can find them at the new official merch booth during the ticketed rodeos.

Attn. Contestants: Entries are officially open as of today. 🤠

NEW: Ranch Rodeo and Jr. Bull Riding entries are now online, which means less call/text chaos and fewer forms living in a pickup console. Some call that progress. 😂

Same arena. Cleaner entry process. No excuse not to get entered.

🎶 One stage. Three days. Plenty of reasons to stay awhile.

Live music kicks off Thursday with Wyoming-based La Causa Norteña, right before the 🌶️ jalapeño eating contest turns up the heat.

From there, we’re keeping the music rolling through Saturday night, with Tris Munsick closing out the Downtown stage!

Beer. Vendors. Street dance. Downtown fun.

Grab a friend and make a day of it, or head to the rodeo and keep the party going downtown after.

🚌 Shuttles available.

Today we pause for the ones who never made it home.

Before the parades, rodeos, fireworks, and summer nights, there is a freedom that came at a cost.

This Memorial Day, Laramie Jubilee Days honors the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the families who carry their legacy forward.

May we never take this country, this community, or the freedom to gather lightly.

Land of the free because of the brave. 🇺🇸

Consider this your official warning: Jubilee is coming.

July 4–12, 2026
Nine days of rodeo, downtown events, summer traditions, and the kind of week that makes Laramie feel like nowhere else.

Mark the calendar now. Your future self will thank you.

We love you, Laramie. 💘
Please show some love back and vote *YES* on Albany County’s 6th Penny on May 5, 2026!

This vote keeps the current 6th penny tax in place and directs it only to the capital projects listed on the ballot, including a huge upgrade of the Albany County Fairgrounds grandstands!

For Laramie Jubilee Days (and many other events), that means progress toward better/more seating, a stronger/safer venue, and an even better experience for all attendees long-term.
