Perfect for unwinding or hosting your next event. A cozy and elegant w**e bar located in the heart of the Heights. We focus on small family-owned w**eries, w**e tasting flights and a small w**e-pairing food menu featuring small plates and build-your-own cheese and charcuterie boards. Sonoma is a small business that believes in giving back to the very community that supports us throughout the year. On average, we donate 5% of net sales to local schools like Harvard and Travis Elementary and non-profits such as SNAP and Houston PetSet. Now open for more than 8 years in this location. We are humbled by the love and support received from the folks in the Heights and surrounding areas during this trying time.

Some w**eries just stay with you. 🍷 Marine Layer is one of them.

I had the opportunity to visit Marine Layer W**es and walk some of their stunning Sonoma Coast vineyards, and I can tell you firsthand — these w**es are something special.

Founded by Baron Ziegler and w**emaker Rob Fischer, the team behind Banshee W**es, Marine Layer is all about small-production, cool-climate w**es that let the vineyards do the talking. Beautiful Chardonnay, exceptional Pinot Noir, and the kind of precision and balance that earned their 2022 estate Pinot Noir 97 points from Vinous.

This is exactly why I love featuring w**eries like this at Sonoma. Great people, incredible vineyards, and w**es with a story worth sharing.

And tonight gets even better because our dear friend and local w**e gal Beth Mosher will be joining us! We absolutely adore her. 💜

Join us TONIGHT at Sonoma W**e Bar | Garden Oaks, Houston from 5–8 PM for four Marine Layer w**es paired with four artisan cheeses. $40 per flight.

Hello Friends,

Halloween weekend is almost here! 🎃 And after a weekend of Halloween-ing with the kids, we're thinking Sunday calls for a little adult time. 🍷

But first, Thursday we're kicking things off with Marine Layer Flight Night! Then Sunday, Chef Kristine is back with incredible bites, 30 w**es, and an afternoon on the lawn for a great cause.

Walk into the weekend knowing Friday’s looking pretty good. 🍷 We’re hosting w**emaker Paul Sloan of Small Vines W**es and the crew behind Caliche W**e Co. for some seriously good single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the West Sonoma Coast. If you know me, you know this is one of my favorite places in the world for both.
