Jason Lummen pressed the apples at a local farm for his first batch of cider in 2002. After enjoying the success of those initial rounds of five gallon batches Jason purchased his first fifty-gallon fermenter; which his wife welcomed into the kitchen of their one-bedroom apartment in Heartside. As years passed his friends and family had the opportunity to taste the cider Jason was producing. Encou

raged by their accolades and having been fortunate enough to have had time immersed in a European cider drinking culture, Jason developed a dry drinkable cider that is a fresh take on craft beverages in West Michigan. In June of 2011, on his son's first birthday Jason incorporated The Peoples Cider Company with the goal of creating a premium dry cider.

I struggle with the morality of creating content for social media. Something that from a business prospective I have given so much of my time to.

Personally I walked away from social media almost a year ago and my life is all the better for it.

These programs harvest the one precious commodity we have in our existence and that is our time.

I will try to keep posting content (we really love making funny videos) but for now here is an awesome picture from last Thursday.

Put your phone down and come have a cider with us in the real world 🍻

Community is Real and it is in the Tangible World.

5:15 Sharp @ Daniel Holland 4:30 to 6:ish. Ciders will be flowing and I will make pub sandwiches

Tomorrow is that O’so special day when we celebrate Irish Immigrants in this country. Knowing our history we now celebrate all immigrants to this country and stand in solidarity with those who would be marginalized.
