While carrying on the traditions of The Sutherland’s and their passion for Italian w**es, The Evans family is dedicated to bringing Fredericksburg the best w**es Italy has to offer. The Evans family has strong ties to Fredericksburg and w**e, it takes them back four generations. In 1847, German immigrant John Christian Durst was assigned a 10-acre plot in Fredericksburg TX, which included a 120‘ mountain. Durst pushed through the brush and discovered the remains of a wooden cross. Durst erected the cross to honor the land God had provided his family. A w**emaker himself, Durst was known to value his faith, family and friends over a good glass of w**e. Four generations later, we hope our w**e provides time for you to reflect on how important your faith, family and friends are.
