🚴‍♂️🎨 Denton Key Clubs Are Getting Ready to Cheer on the Turkey Roll! 🦃🚴‍♀️

What happens when you bring together creative minds, colorful markers, and a group of students who love serving their community? You get some fantastic signs and a whole lot of Kiwanis spirit!

This weekend, members of the Denton High School, Ryan High School, and Guyer High School Key Clubs came together for a sign-making party in preparation for the 44th Annual Turkey Roll Bicycle Rally on Saturday, November 21!

These talented students spent time creating colorful, encouraging, and sometimes hilarious signs that they'll proudly hold along the routes to cheer on cyclists as they make their way through the rally.

But this is about more than making signs. It's about bringing young leaders together, building friendships across our Denton schools, and showing what the Kiwanis family is all about — serving others and making a difference in our community. 💙

The Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Club is incredibly proud of these students and their commitment to service. Their energy, creativity, and willingness to volunteer help make the Turkey Roll a special event year after year.

👏 A BIG THANK YOU to all the Key Club members who participated! We can't wait to see your signs and smiling faces encouraging our riders on November 21!

This is what the Kiwanis family looks like in action! 💙

🎶 Kiwanis Supporting Kiwanis! 🎤💙

Members of the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Club recently enjoyed a fun evening at VFW Post 2205, showing their support for fellow Kiwanian Joe Holland, who was performing!

It was a great night of music, laughter, friendship, and fellowship!

Being part of Kiwanis is about more than serving our community. It's also about building lasting friendships, supporting one another, and enjoying time together outside our regular meetings.

Great music, great friends, and great memories! Thank you, Joe, for a wonderful evening! 🎶👏

💙 Kiwanis is more than a service organization. We're a family!

Today, members of the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Club were honored to be onsite at the City of Denton Police and Fire 9/11 Memorial as our community came together to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless families forever changed by that day.

We are grateful to the City of Denton, Denton Police Department, Denton Fire Department, and all those who continue to ensure that the courage, sacrifice, and unity of September 11 are never forgotten.

As Kiwanians, we believe service begins with remembering those who served and sacrificed before us.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Members of the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Club were proud to join the Denton High School Key Club as students placed American flags in remembrance of the lives lost and the heroes who responded on September 11, 2001.

This is a tradition the Denton High Key Club has carried on for many years, and their commitment continues to impress us.

Even with the Texas heat and humidity—and on what would normally be a day off from school—these students showed up and went to work, carefully placing the flags so our community can pause, remember, and honor those whose lives were forever changed by 9/11.

Service is not always convenient. Sometimes it means giving up your time, working in the heat, and doing something simply because remembering matters.

We are proud to stand beside these young leaders and grateful to see the spirit of service continuing into the next generation.

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We serve.
