Generous amounts of fresh sage, rosemary, and thyme are stuffed into the cavity of the chicken 🍗 to perfume the meat while roasting 🌿.

The smell in the kitchen as these roast is impossible to describe — buttery, roasty, herbaceous, and amazing 🤤.

I love walking in the back door in the morning when the cooks have started these before I arrive.

An outstanding way to start the day ☀️.

Another simple and universally loved dish is highlighted this week: roasted chicken 🍗.

A handful of readily available ingredients come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts.

Celebrity chefs 👨‍🍳 like Thomas Keller, Robert Irvine, and others have said that if they knew it was their last meal, roast chicken would be their request.
