Good Tuesday morning world. Let's have a heart to heart this morning! Alot of people have a lot of things to say about Happy Daze , the owner, the schedule, the crowd, the everything! Normally I let people talk and don't feel the need to explain myself or anything. But today I feel a little chatty!
1. No one, not one person has ever been shot at this establishment, and what the news posted.... Watch all the way thru! Happy Daze was closed at the time of the shooting and it occurred way after hrs.
2. Some days when we are suppose to be open, people ride by and indeed we are closed.
A. Because you can't trust everyone and some people that have been tried out working there just didn't do things correctly and let's say they weren't as honest as they pretended to be.
3. Drinks prices are outrageous
A.prices wouldn't have to go up, if people would buy drinks in the building and not drink illegally in the parking lot.
B. Staffing/security was only brought in for a short period bc of the shooting that occurred after hrs bc it made some feel comfortable to know that they were protected and we don't have problems.
So let me break it down for all... I purchased this business to have a place for everyone to hang out and be safe and have a good time to meet up with friends and all. My dream was for everyone to get along and have a good time. I understand some of the old crowd doesn't like the fact that the bar is open to everyone, I understand that I pi**ed a lot of people off that doesn't want crowds to mix. I'm not going to apologize for opening my doors to everyone, just to clarify that part from the start. Now since purchasing this bar I, myself have had a lot of personal issues go on....1. collapsing in the floor to find out I had a 8.8mm tumor in my left kidney that threw me in kidney failure. The fact that most of u didn't even realize what I was standing there going thru in a day with infusions, treatments etc but still managed to keep a smile. The fact that my heart disease got the best of me bc of the stress of things and had to go back to the hospital where I will have a pace maker put in soon! No one ever knows what another person is going thru and before constantly bashing the place please understand what is going on.
So with that being said we have a full weekend planned and hope to see everyone out there, note the drink prices have gone back down, some new drinks added to the menu, and some things happening within the week! I will post a current schedule soon!
