Howdy Friends! I'm so excited to share that I'll be playing a Facebook Live show on October 11th with Grace Love and Brian Bonz as part of Free Music Fridays for the American Folk Art Museum! Head over to their page on Friday October 11th at 6pm ET / 5pm CT for the livestream.

This month, Free Music Fridays is brought to you in partnership with Local Correspondents, which was a supportive Brooklyn music community for independent artists based at Bar4 in Park Slope from 2003–2013. LC hosted an annual festival as well as weekly showcases and open mic nights at venues throughout New York City, bringing together a talented and diverse group of performers. LC offered a helping hand to performers who live and visit the NYC area by providing them with advice, tips and opportunities to play. Free Music Fridays is proud to host this reunion show, supported by members of the community.

Bar4 Fam, please share, like, and spread the word! Our friends Stevie and the Lion are releasing their debut EP on June 24th at Union Hall. It's a beautiful collection of songs produced by Omer Leibovitz. Stevie and the Lion will be performing their salty/sweet mix of pop and folk backed by a full band at 10pm. But first Michael Wagner's ukulele playing will leave you picking your jaws up off of the floor at 9pm. $10 tickets include a free digital download of the new EP.
