🎃 It’s National Pumpkin Day — a great time to enjoy a delicious pumpkin b**r.

Did you know?

🍺 Pumpkin b**r has roots dating back to colonial America.

🎃 Today’s pumpkin b**rs often get much of their flavor from fall spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove.

🍂 The style made a major comeback during the craft b**r boom and remains a seasonal favorite.

Team pumpkin b**r or pass? 🍻

Nearly 300 b**r and beverage professionals gathered to share ideas and grow as leaders at the fifth annual Making Moves following NBWA's Convention.

Through two days of programming centered on the theme "Built for the Ride Ahead," attendees explored industry trends, developed their leadership skills and gained confidence to put bold ideas into action, while strengthening connections among women across all three industry tiers.

We are excited to announce NBWA’s 2026-2027 Board Chair: Luke Dahlheimer, President of Dahlheimer Beverage.

Luke is a third-generation distributor, community leader and former firefighter. He brings extensive industry experience, including serving three terms as chair of the Minnesota B**r Wholesalers Association.

“Let’s continue to show the country what independent beverage distributors have always done best: connect people, build communities and deliver value every single day,” he told attendees at NBWA’s 89th Annual Convention.

Cheers to Luke and the year ahead!

“B**r connects us.” In his final remarks as NBWA Chair, Steve Beykirch reflected on b**r's ability to bring people together and urged distributors to continue creating opportunities for meaningful in-person connection.

“B**r is one of the best reasons people put down the phone and actually show up. In a world that keeps finding new ways to keep people apart, let's give friends and family more reasons to connect over a b**r.”

Thank you for your leadership, Steve!
