August at the 1860 Restaurant
It's that time of year again! When we say Cheers to Michael our Head Chef and sent him home to Austria to enjoy the sunshine with family and friends. Tasting new foods and gathering inspiration. 1860 Restraunt will be closed, untill September, that is not serving the 1860 menu.

However our very capable sous chef Adriana who has recently joined us from London will take control of the kitchen. (Yes another accent to content with) Adriana brings plenty of experience and enthusiasm, her desserts are a must!

Think of 1860 space as an extended Top Pub for August! Bar service, no bookings necessary. As always fabulous food, excellent service with a smile. Cheers

We look forward to September, the lauch of our new Spring menu celebrating the very best of seasonal Wairarapa produce and fresh local flavours.

Untill then come in out of the cold, keep warm by the fire, we will always have a hearty bowl of Irish Stew, or a good steak on the stove.
