Chef Wanted – Good Food, Good Hours, Good Kitchen
The Greytown Hotel – 1860 Restaurant is looking for a capable chef or experienced cook who takes pride in cooking good food properly.
This isn’t a late-night, high-stress city kitchen. We’re a well-established gastro-pub style restaurant with a loyal local following, a solid menu, and a team that works well together. The pace can be busy, but it’s sensible hospitality.
If you enjoy producing quality, honest food without the midnight finishes, this role might suit you perfectly.
The lifestyle perks (rare in hospitality):
Most shifts finished by 9pm
7–8 hour shifts
Around 30 hours per week
We can also accommodate reduced hours (minimum 16)
$26 – $30 per hour depending on experience

Has solid kitchen experience and can run a service confidently
