Some originals are worth going back to 🍺 Especially when they’re Award winning! 🏆

Emerson's Brewery Pride of the Plains has arrived at the - and if you know your Emerson's history, you'll know just how special this one is. First brewed on 16 May 1995, Pride of the Plains was the original name for what would become the iconic Emerson's Pilsner. Brewed with Saaz D hops - now known as Riwaka - the reboot stays true to the original single-hop recipe, delivering the same bold fruit flavours with beautiful notes of passionfruit and lime at a sessionable 5%.

And last night it won big as it was named Best NZ Lager and Pilsner at the NZ Beeer Awards!

As Emerson's put it - everyone loves an original. The original song, the original movie, the original sneakers. And now, the original award-winning Pilsner 🍻

Make the most of it. It might not be around again for another 30 years.

If ever there was a beer made for a cold winter's night, it's this one ❄️

Emerson's Brewery's Rock and Pillar Robust Porter has arrived at the , and the timing couldn't be better. Named after the Rock and Pillar Range that looks over Middlemarch - the small Otago town that Richard Emerson calls home - this dark beauty sits somewhere between a brown porter and a stout, robust with rich malt, roasted cocoa, dark chocolate and coffee flavours that are, as Emerson's put it, as bittersweet as the local sense of humour 😅

At 5.6% it's the perfect companion for a cold evening. Come in out of the chill, settle into one of our cosy nooks, and let Rock & Pillar warm you from the inside out 🍺

Today is the final day we'll be pouring Emerson's Brewery Grilled West Coast IPA, and we'd hate for you to miss out. Bright, bold and unapologetically flavour forward, Grilled delivers punchy citrus hops backed by a clean, resinous edge - a crisp, hop driven hit that slices cleanly through rich, fatty flavours and balances beautifully against anything smoky or charred.
