🎃 Saturday 31st October (8:45pm): Halloween Fancy Dress Party
Dust off your costumes and get ready for a spooky night! We are throwing our Halloween Party this Saturday from 8:45pm, with live music from the brilliant band The The IOUs . Dig out your best fancy dress and come join us for a proper Saturday night party!

🎸 Sunday 1st November (3:30pm): Live Music with Nina Garcia
The wonderful Nina Garcia will be playing live in the bar from 3:30pm. Pop in, grab a drink, and enjoy some live music to round off the weekend.

Please note that our kitchen will be closed on Sunday evening, so there will be no food served. Be sure to have dinner beforehand, then join us at the bar for a proper evening of quizzing!

PINT-SIZED PLAYS THIS WEEK: A SPECIAL REMINDER!
Pint-Sized Plays 2026 kicks off this week at The Lord Nelson on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the show:

We are running a raffle each night with some fantastic prizes up for grabs. Please remember to bring some cash along so you can buy your tickets! All proceeds go directly toward Norton Village Hall and Chiselborough Hall.

❤️ A Very Special Tribute in Part 2:
Part 2 of the programme features a play titled 'It's a Matter of Death' written by the late Trevor Harris. Trev was involved with Pint-Sized Plays and village pantomimes for years and was a hugely missed member of our community.

Before he passed away, Trev wrote several plays and particularly wanted to see this one performed on stage. He had even selected the actors for it himself! It is going to be a very special moment seeing his vision brought to life.

It is our very last Classics at The Nellie of the year! Come down to admire a wonderful selection of classic cars and bikes, enjoy a relaxed pint, and catch up with fellow enthusiasts.
