The Marston Inn
We are asking for the residents of Marston Magna for their opinion on the pub opening a small store and cafe .
We are painfully aware that the village has an aged population, young families, others who do not have access to transport and no local amenities to rely on.
We are thinking for the shop, basic necessities to start. The cafe would run Wednesday to Saturday 10 - 3pm. We know it would be a slow start. Please let Colin and I know your opinion/ ideas how we could make our village better for all.

Well it's that time of year where we are reminded how important it is that we check our bodies for lumps, bumps and suspicious moles and marks. So with that in mind we are holding our 3rd " Wear it PInk " day on Saturday 17th October here at The Marston Inn!
We are planning on holding a cake sale in the afternoon from 3pm, my also include home made quiche and other savoury snacks. In the evening we have the very talented and saucey Simon Reeves here to entertain you all. Buffet food will be on sale at £3.00 a portion.
Please do come along and help change peoples lives by donating and joining in the fun ! All moneys raised will go to this very worthy cause.

Been great fun over the last couple weeks singing with the lovely Victoria Starr as Jukebox & Starr, more to come over the next few months!

SATURDAY EVENING - I'm off to the seaside and the amazing Blues Bar! Expect classics and modern hits, guaranteed to get you rocking and rolling all night! LIVE from 8:30pm!!

We are thinking about doing a BBQ tomorrow ( if the weather holds) it will be from 1pm until 5pm. Everyone is welcome to join us, it will also be free jukebox and games in the bar/pool / skittles. Obviously if the weather is shocking then BBQ will be cancelled but the kitchen will be open for basket meals!
