Pictures of last nights steak and Shiraz Saturday!!!

Sirloin steak with grilled tomato, mushrooms cooked in garlic and rosemary butter. Beer battered gluten free onion rings, chips, salad and peppercorn sauce. Alongside a gammon steak with the same garnishes as well as fried egg and pineapple.
Chargrilled eggplant marinated in garlic and thyme oil, with grilled tomato, paprika butter cooked mushrooms, chips, salad and gluten free beer battered onion rings.

All steaks were suitable for coeliacs. Resumes Saturday 19th September.

Steak and Shiraz Saturday kicks off tomorrow night. We have;
Sirloin, horseshoe gammon and eggplant!
Available 5-8pm. No bookings taken, first come first served. This will be an eat in only option (sorry no take aways)
Doors will open at 4pm Saturday as there will be no lunchtime service.
All meals will receive a large glass of Shiraz!!!! Prices from £20.

This weeks real ales. Starting off strong with a staple favourite in Lacons Brewery “Norfolk gem” a classic session bitter at 3.6%
Alongside the wonderfully named
“Granny wouldn’t like it” (but she might!)
A superb red ale with oaky notes with just the right amount of bitter taste with a sweet finish. Packing a punch at 4.8% a superb product of Wolf Brewery.
Available today from 5pm.
Food service resumes Thursday from 5pm no bookings needed.

This bank holiday! Last one before Christmas 🎄
Bbq and karaoke all on Sunday 30th.
Doors open from 12 bbq from 1pm and music and karaoke will commence 4/5pm.

As no one can get in the pub. And if you can the noise is unbearable. We have decided to shut. Emergency road works apparently, although the pot holes have been there for years, tonight is the night they get fixed 🤷‍♂️ sorry for any inconvenience

As we seem to be racing through August. We are holding our bbq karaoke day. All welcome. Doors open at 1 and we will kick the barbecue off from 1pm. Music will play from 4/5 and karaoke shortly after. Please remember sun cream and hats as I’m sure we won’t have any rain (famous last words) keep and eye out later in the month for what we will have to offer on the barbecue. Look forward to seeing you all.

Well the bunting is down, including the Scotland flag that was stolen before we could take it down! I suggest maybe putting it on a hot wash as it’s been hanging in the gents toilets for a good month….. thanks to everyone for supporting us.
