Good afternoon Wokingham

Remember, from today, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday we are open from 1pm, so rather than eating a takeaway away from Miimi's Kitchen and getting soggy, why not come in and enjoy a cheeky drink with us?

After all, we now come recommended for banter and fun from The Great British Pub Crawl.

Tonight we have Wokingham Life-Drawing Society joining us in the back bar from 7pm, come and join them if you fancy a drink and a art session as they're always happy to welcome new faces.

Tomorrow it's music from The Trashcan Millionaires from 8.30pm- we love Ian and the gang and it's a gig not to be missed.

Saturday Claire is nicking the decks back from Eddie for Dukes Disco from 8pm

And Sunday the Frailers will be back in the Snug from 7pm.

We will be showing the opening ceremony of the World Cup (of Soccer, apparently) in the main bar.

Apparently there is a post floating around social media that we have no power.
That isn't correct, we had a brief power surge a while ago but all is well here.
Claire will not be getting a night off by candle light, you can rest assured.

Good afternoon Wokingham

We are open for the week and this week we are changing our opening hours for you.

From this week we will now be opening at 1pm on Thursday and Fridays. All other days will stay the same.

A big thanks to Wokingham.Today for featuring us this week as we are announced as official sponsors of the fantastic Wokinghampride. We are very proud to sponsor such a good cause and think now more than ever it's important. We are after all the community pub on Denmark Street and that means the whole community!

This week, it's Art Club on Thursday with Wokingham Life-Drawing Society from 7pm, and Friday it's the ever talented The Trashcan Millionaires from 8.30pm
Dukes Disco is back at 8pm Saturday and The Frailers are joining us on Sunday from 7pm.

What a great day yesterday, thanks to Wokingham Town Council for another great Party in the Park and hello to everyone who joined us in the bar too- was lovely to see so many happy people despite the rain.

From one party to another, with singing, it's Karaoke today from 4pm. Pick a song, warm up those vocals and get ready to show your talent. Or enthusiasm. We don't mind which!

Good afternoon Wokingham

It's Friday and it's a busy old weekend in town starting off tonight with Eddie taking a break from A'Level exam revision to bring his Alt Music Night from 8pm.

Tomorrow, Dukes Disco takes a back seat as Elms Field will be hosting this year's Party in the Park, organised by Wokingham Town Council from 3pm.
If the weather lets you down, we are open with warmth and drinks a plenty! To beat the queues, we have take away drinks options, and you can order food from Miimi's Kitchen and Wok Zone too!

And on Sunday - you have been warned- it's back! Karaoke, from 4pm. No talent required just lots of enthusiasm! Phelix has promised (or threatened depending on your point of view) to sing Barbie Girl for us again and I'm hearing rumours of a punk performance of Tatu by Eddie. Get your vocal chords ready and come sing your heart out with us and Vinyl Nirvana

This just in, and we are always trying to please you Dukers, from next Thursday we will be opening from 1pm. Why not grab lunch from Elton and enjoy it with a pint in the beer garden or bar?

Good morning Wokingham

Tonight you can join in with our fortnightly Ukulele Jam from 7.30pm- new members are always welcome or just come and give them some requests!

On Friday we have our Alternative music night from 8pm

It's now Pride Month in the UK and as always we are supporting the wonderful gang from Wokinghampride- the entire Pride Festival on Elms Field is organised by a team of fantastic volunteers and made possible by sponsors and fundraising efforts throughout the year.
This year's Wokingham Pride takes place on 11th July with the after-party at ours.

One of the stalls will be a Tombola and we are on the look out for prizes to be donated, so if you can donate a prize then please drop them off with us for safe keeping!

The LGBTQ group will be joining us for karaoke this Sunday from 4pm so come along and meet them whether you're part of the community or an ally.
