A family run cafe, not one of your normal franchise run places, the staff are warm, welcoming and professional, the cafe has a lot of quirky details inside (lots of unique tea pots, pictures on the walls, humorous quotations, a cabinet of various model cars ) the more you look the more you find! There are resident pets as well, and aging alsatian dog called Shadow who is extremely well behaved and chill, a cat called Bandit, like Shadow, very good company and a Parrot called Charlie, Charlie is caged and warnings are in place as he may bite, the food is good and not expensive (two large English breakfasts, a three egg omelette with onions,cheese and mushrooms two coffees and a filter coffee came to just over £30, it is a quiet kid friendly cafe , a rare find, visit this place, it needs supporting, we don't have enough independent cafes at this calibre, I will definitely keep going back, well worth a visit.

We had our daughter’s 2nd birthday in the hall at the back. £85 hire with a bouncy castle! It was just perfect! The staff were so helpful during the event and parents could use the cafe /bar next door, making it even easier for us to arrange. Thank you

Used to visit every week, had to stop due to travel restrictions. Visited on a whim today, and we were remembered and made to feel as welcome as we did before. Wondeful place with a friendly atmosphere, and my burger was delicious too :D
