A very belated THANK YOU to everyone who helped us get over the line and get the building ready to open.
Opening day on 15th July was emotional. After two years of working alongside so many people every day, it felt very strange and quite emotional not to have the amazing team from H&OB Building and H&OB Plumbing there with us. And realising that Rob, Spencer, Fynn, Jack, Darren and others who had been such a huge part of the journey weren’t going to be with us daily was a real moment.

There have been so many fabulous local people and businesses we've had the pleasure of working with, and if we’ve missed you off this list, I apologise profusely! It’s not intentional.
We’ve tried wherever possible to use local companies and local people, while also reusing and repurposing parts of the existing building wherever we could.
It’s been a journey and long may it continue!
There are still plenty of jobs to finish, as you’ll see from the garden and car park areas, but they’ll come in time and there are lots of wonderful things to look forward to.
A massive thank you to our families and friends for all the support, patience and encouragement along the way. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.
And finally, to our amazing team. James Brooks, we absolutely wouldn’t have got to opening without the kitchen co-ordination and management you provided in those crucial months leading up to opening.....and to the incredible bar, front of house and kitchen teams: it’s been four weeks already and we couldn’t be prouder of you all❤️
