Really great atmosphere at the Tavern last night for live music by & for 🧡

Thank You to All the performers and Everyone that came!

My cousin who now lives in California was over for the first time in 13 years, and brought his family for their first Witney experience.

They absolutely loved it. Tyler’s roast in the afternoon and live music in the evening, in a cosy pub that was established before their country was..!
It’s crazy when you think about it.

Anyway, it was a fab weekend and we hope you all have a super week ahead.

Hello All, we open today (Thursday) at 4 for 1/2 price wine & fizz as usual, but this Sunday’s Monthly Open Mic night has a very special “take-over”… 👏🏼

They have kindly provided 2 fantastic acts for us all to enjoy:

skint, country music without the o! council estate folk-punk, songs about missing bin day, running out of loo roll, and living in a mould filled home!

And

Bonnie & the Barstars are a 4 piece band of local country loving musicians bringing you old classic covers and ballads. From Johnny Cash to Hank Williams, they will be sure to ease you of your blues.

It’s Free Entry as usual and the show starts after 7pm.

So, come along, hear something new and support live music too. Always a good thing to do.

For the rest of this week; we open today at 4pm. Then again at 4 on Thursday for 1/2 Price Wine. 12 on Saturday and Sunday for pub lunch (yes, Tyler is back from his holiday) and 12.30 on Sunday for Roasts.

Oooooh, if you’re looking forward to a pint in a lovely little beer garden after work today, we’ve got in a guest ale called Opus Pocus by .ales and and it’s absolutely delicious!!!

We open today and tomorrow at 12pm and serve until late. So, if you’re into beautifully clear, tasty, real ale, you must come and try this before it’s sold out.

Hi Everyone, hope you’re having a great week so far. We’ve just opened again for the week. Great beers as usual tonight, 1/2 price wine on Thursday. Open from 12 at the weekend.

Our Tyler is taking a much deserved holiday this week, but we’ll be back to normal next week and we actually aren’t fully booked yet for his much loved Roasts on Sunday 17th May…!
It’s the first time since September last year that we’ve had an opportunity to advertise spaces..! (We can’t thank you enough for how busy you’ve made every Sunday).
So, if you’d like to book a space for the 17th or 24th, please drop us a DM now.
Same goes for the Fridays and/or Saturdays too.

Such a great evening with the brewers!

The launch of the Hooky Gold 20th anniversary 🍺 was a major success and the first 72 pints have sold out in a couple of hours already..!

Because it really is blooming delicious!

We’re very happy to have it on as a seasonal “guest”, it’s perfect 👌🏼

Can’t wait for more of you real ale drinkers to try it over the weekend.

Beautifully clear, super well balanced and just incredible.
