Offering locally sourced, seasonal, organic and free from food from brunch through to supper time with the very best organic wines and spirits from around the world. Located in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside our 17th Century pub is the perfect place to unwind in front of a

roaring log fire, or feel the warmth of spring and summer in our generous and peaceful walled gardens.

We currently have our December deal of 2 mains (excluding grass fed steaks) and a bottle of house wine for £20 (excluding Sundays) and 2 Grass fed steaks and a bottle of house wine for £30. Give us a ring on 01865 300307 to book.

We have added some pub specials this week to our principal organic and freefrom menu due to demand from the regulars. So we hope now we have a delicious dish for everyone.

Cosy in with a pie this month. We are striving to continue to offer dishes that have been favourites with The Black Horse regulars since we took over, and Joe's steak and kidney pie is right up there. Our gluten, dairy and vegetable oil free pie is now perfected (Joe agrees) and is a winter warming comfort food winner.

Come and try our Steak & Hooky Pie served with Olive Oil mash and Curly Kale.
