There's not many pub publications that are based entirely on independent volunteers consistently judging the b**r and ambience of a place. The Good b**r is one of those publications that keeps us on our toes, ensuring quality and choice.
On my 18th birthday my dad gifted me a 1998 edition of TGBG. I took it to every new town and city I visited and it took me on some amazing adventures/sticky situations. It was a map on a sea of b**r discovery. To say I'm proud to have the ship I swab the decks for is featured in it again in an understatment!
