The Willeymoor Lock Tavern is a family run country pub situated 2 miles north of Whitchurch, Shropshire on the A49 towards Taporley. The pub is actually located in the county of Cheshire, it's beside a working lock on the Llangollen canal

Just 48 hours to go! 🚤🎉

It’s hard to believe that after months of planning, organising, building, painting, making, emailing, lifting, shifting and probably a fair amount of head scratching, the Whitchurch Canal Festival is almost here!

A huge amount of work has gone on behind the scenes to make this weekend happen. Our volunteers have given so much of their time, alongside the wonderful support we’ve received from local businesses, community groups, stallholders, performers and everyone getting involved.

Now we just need you to come and enjoy it!

There’ll be live music, boats, stalls, food and drink, children’s activities, our Miniature Canal Regatta, guided tours of the canal breach and plenty more across the weekend.

☀️ We’ve put our order in for good weather... apparently delivery is pending!

💷💳 A little festival tip: it’s worth bringing both cash and card with you. Different stallholders will have different payment options, so having both means you won’t miss out on something you fancy.
