Regretfully, The House Classics night we had planned for tonight is cancelled. We left it late hoping the weather would change its mind but it’s looking pretty miserable out there. We will rearrange for another weekend soon. Apologies for the let down and late notice 😞

It was a big day yesterday. We had Brettlec here rewiring the kitchen and preparing for our new induction cook line. They were up against it to get it done and finished for us to open for dinner service but they finished bang on time. It’s a great job and we’ve got peace of mind that it’s all safe now.

We used the down time to have a mass clear out, tidy up and organise. The bar was gutted and stripped for deep cleaning and the yard areas all washed down too. How long it stays this tidy organised for is anyone’s guess 🙄😂

Today, Saturday 15th August, Ding n John are on the lineup of Hartley Live! A whole day of live music at The Hartley in Wheaton Aston. Come on out for an amazing day filled with great music.

Lowes Trees have been in for a little spruce up this afternoon. It’s great actually being able to see the canal again 😀

A few things about tomorrow ….

Our car park will be closed all day. Alternative parking is available just over the bridge and marked on the map in the picture. Please use the parking provided and not the kerbs through the village.

Food is served all day from 1pm. There is a separate food service area at the small bar in the bar end of the pub.

There is no breakfast service tomorrow sorry, we are open from 12pm.

We have more seating and benches than ever but you are welcome to bring camping chairs if you wish. We can’t reserve tables and people do usually arrive early to secure a pitch.

As usual, we are a free entry no ticket event.

We do get extremely busy and again we have been working on ways to get everybody served as quickly as we can. Please be patient during peak times.

From 9pm all children are required to be supervised at all times. This is for safety reasons after a few small incidents last year.

We can’t wait and we hope you’re as excited as we are!

Next Monday we will be closed until 4pm for essential works in the kitchen. We’re in the process of refitting the kitchen and we need electrical works that will leave us without power in the day. We’ll be back open from 4pm and dinner service as usual from 5:30pm.
