This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef/cook to join us with the amazing opportunity to set up a new kitchen team at The Horns Inn ..
The horns will become a busy small village pub, and a fabulous Place to Work.
The Role
We are looking for someone passion about food to prepare delicious meals with their own twist .
An excellent chef / Cook must be able to give instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals and also have the ability to share that knowledge.
Main Responsibilities:
• Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy
• Prepares foods to the specifications of the client
• Prepares food before the arrival of guests
• Adjusts food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns
• Acts as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
• Seasons food according to recipes or company needs
• Orders ingredients and spices as needed
• Portions, arranges, and garnishes food based on client preference
• Assists other cooks and chefs during the food assembly process
• Ensuring high food hygiene standards
• Clean down area after service
• All fresh food background would be ideal
Requirements:
• Must be driven to work hard and succeed as a team
• Be professional, approachable and friendly at all times
• Have excellent timekeeping and personal skills
• Ideally, come from a similar establishment

Work has begun to get The Horns Inn back up and running in this fabulous village 👏

We don’t have a date as of yet, but it will be within the next 4-6 weeks we hope, We will keep you all updated with the progress.
