The Lion Hotel kitchen is back open — and we’ve missed you 🍽️
For us, it’s always been about two things: great food, and looking after people properly.

Our chefs are back doing what they love — cooking seasonal dishes with care, using quality ingredients, and serving food we’re genuinely proud of. Whether it’s our Slow Cooked Confit of Lamb with red currant & rosemary sauce, or the Curry of the Day served with basmati rice, naan and mango chutney, every plate is made fresh, by hand, by our team.
But a great meal is more than what’s on the plate. It’s the warm Berriew welcome. The team who remember your usual. The unhurried service that turns dinner into an evening out. That’s the bit we’ve missed most.
We’re open for lunch and dinner from today, with the full menu available alongside our Sunday Roast. Pop in, take a seat, and let us look after you.
