Hello everyone, I’m Jake Evans, the new landlord of The Green Dragon Inn, Welshpool!

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the support since I took over on Boxing Day – it’s been great seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones too.

For those who don’t know me, I was born and raised in Welshpool, and have worked in the restaurant and pub trade since I was 16. Running my own pub has always been the goal, so it’s great to finally have the opportunity! I’d like to also take this opportunity to thank Rosina and Jordan Harding for everything they’ve done for me, and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

We’ve got plenty of plans in the pipeline, and I’m looking forward to sharing them with you soon. In the meantime; if you could Like and Share this post/page so nobody misses out that would be greatly appreciated!

For now, here are the new opening hours:

⏰ Monday to Thursday: 2pm – Late
⏰ Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 12pm – Late
