The Tavern at Denstone

❤️ WOW… WE DID IT! WE PASSED THE POPPY! 🌺

What an incredible day for our village and community!

The poppy set off from The Tavern in Denstone, travelled through the village, past Ryecroft School where the children lined the street to show their support (what a lovely sight!), continued on to The Red Lion in Rocester, and was then handed over to Ellie at The King's Head in Hilton to continue its journey.

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to JCB for making all of this possible. Without your support, something so special wouldn't have happened.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported us, helped organise things, cheered us on and played their part along the way.

It's moments like these that remind us just how amazing our local communities are when they come together.

Today wasn't just about passing a poppy… it was about remembering, respecting and bringing our communities together for such an important cause.

From all of us at The Tavern, THANK YOU. ❤️

We will remember them. 🌺

⛰️ 12 Weeks to Go! ⛰️

Many of you know Keiren as a bit of a diva, so the fact he'll soon be swapping his home comforts for a tent on the side of Kilimanjaro is a challenge in itself!

In just 12 weeks, Keiren will be joining an incredible team to take on Mount Kilimanjaro, raising funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital and Carter the Brave. ❤️

This is so much more than a mountain climb. Every step he takes will be for the amazing children and families supported by these wonderful charities, and we're incredibly proud to support him on his journey.

If you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, we'd love for you to get behind him. Your support will help make a real difference and give him the motivation he needs when the climb gets tough.

Good luck, Keiren, although we're still trying to work out how you're going to cope with 7 days without room service! 😂🏕️

💙 Please support if you can and help us cheer him on all the way to the summit!

🏕️⛰️💙
