So, New Orleans Meets Uttoxeter, Sunday 2 August, the forecast looks good. Attached is some information, please take a quick read as it’s a long day, probably key is bring some foldable camping chairs.

A huge thanks to Mike for organizing the event, and to the sponsors who are supporting the event.

So down to the beers.

On cask, Osset’s White Rat, Wye Valley’s Butty Bach, Titanic’s Plum Porter.
On keg, Rural Brewing’s Dismount Pale Ale and Last Leg Lager, Rattler Cider, Bitburger Premium Pils,
Shiny Crush and Bristol Beer Factory Black Gates.
To attempt to take some pressure from the main bar we have a mobile with Rural Last Leg and Dismount on, please note that is all that is being sold from that point and card payments will speed up the transactions.

All drinks will be sold in plastic.

July is almost at an end LIV golf hits the area along with 2 race meetings.
So this week we have the following beers on.
From Shiny Brewery we have Rainbow Tea, it’s brewed once a year and this year in a limited number of casks. It packs a punch at 6.2%ABV, Gluten Free and hazy. It’s refreshing at £5/pint.

Butty Bach, Golden, 4.5%ABV at £4.40/pint.

Ossett’s Trip Hop #7, Pale, 4.0%ABV at £4.40/pint.

Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby, 6%ABV at £5/pint.

It’s unbelievable, blue skies and a bit of sun on this wonderfull Valentines Day.

Tomorrow we have Warren James and His Lonesome Travellers playing some music from 3pm to 6pm, for those that don’t know Warren he plays with Mike in the Vaults.

Firstly would like to recognise our local CAMRA branch, Uttoxeter&District Branch, who have been presented a Special Award by the regional CAMRA West Midlands, congratulations to the members, more then ever we need CAMRA’s support not just for pubs, but for the industry’s independent breweries.
