As many of you will know, we’re Rich & Becks 👋

We reopened the doors of Lamberhursts’ beloved Chequers Inn just over 18 months ago, after a crowdfunder allowed us to pick up the keys… and what a wonderful time it’s been so far!

When we took over we were confident we wanted the pub to re-become the heart of our small village; serving delicious homemade food & locally sourced pints, all whilst giving our locals the perfect spot to spend their evenings.

And we finally feel that we have done just that. Thank you to all of our fabulous customers who have eaten with us, danced with us and tried their best to answer ridiculously hard quiz questions with us!

Here’s to many more community events, themed evenings & Sunday afternoons in the riverside garden 🌿🥂

September’s Save The Dates 📍

As you know, there’s always something happening at The Chequers Inn, and this month does not disappoint.

Join us this Saturday for the annual Duck Race, starting at 11am from Millbay Field in the River Teise and finishing in our garden. Pick up your duck from us, Teise & Coffee Cafe Lamberhurst or the Shop for £2.50.

September’s Quiz night will take place on Thursday 24th at 8pm with trivia, a music round and a meat raffle! Teams are up to six people and £5pp.

And to finish the month, we’ll have our monthly Jam Night on Wednesday 30th from 8pm.
