We only went & got '... the days most recommended pub' from The Great British Pub Crawl in Tunbridge Wells yesterday.

Obviously a man with great taste!

Typical example of today's media drumming up completely inaccurate headlines to just sensationalise themselves, by The Mirror.

Whilst not a fan of Keir Starmer, or his party, I can see no mention in the actual article nor on his X post where this extra 2 hours opening is described as a 'major change to pubs'. Considering everything else this party is doing to destroy the pub trade, if this had been the case then it would have been a definite slap in the face but instead, it is just the gutter press doing what they do best.

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer urged pubgoers to 'come together' for the 80th anniversary of VE Day next month, which will be marked by concerts, street parties and a change to licensing hours

We may have had someone famous in the pub this afternoon... yes, the singer Jo-Jo of Jo-Jo & The Teeth was here but we are talking about Frankie, her dog who stole the show! Richard managed to feed the dog one of our doggie biscuit treats before being barked at to leave them alone with their rightful celebrity status!

We are Jo-Jo & The Teeth. London-Based, Glam Rock N Rolla’s.

It is officially the Random Acts of Kindness Day today & what better way to celebrate than over a pint of the foaming stuff with friends?

This is effectively a "Two for One Offer" as not only is it an act of kindness to buy a friend (or complete stranger) a drink but also doubles as another act of kindness in supporting your local pub during these particularly trying times.

So go on... be a two time random act of kindness giver with just one simple action.

Oh dear... could be an interesting year ahead!

Personally though, it is a little difficult to feel sorry for them when able to compare their actions to that of the Post Office (see image in first comment).

Happy Easter Sunday one & all. We are open today from 12pm with absolutely nothing special or Easter themed planned at all!!

The perfect day for those suffering from Leporiphobia as there will be no bunnies or rabbits in sight! No chocolate, no eggs & no family tables of screaming kids searching for the same!

Just a peaceful haven to enjoy some fine real ales, wines & spirits (inc. some la**rs if you really have to!).

Warning: there may be the odd Daffodil! 💐🥀
