As a lot of you know, Des sadly passed away on 14th August. He was one of the kindest souls and always brought laughter and a bit of Tom Jones, wherever he went! Des was a much-loved part of the Lord Burghley team and will be missed dearly by us all❤️

His funeral service will be held on 23rd September at 11:30am at Peterborough Crematorium, followed by a wake here at The Lord Burghley. We know how loved Des was by so many, and we would love for him to get the send-off he truly deserves. Everyone who knew and loved him is welcome to come along and celebrate his life!

Thank you for such a good bank holiday weekend, the last one of the year going out with a bang!!

As it is bank holiday Monday we will be closing early tonight, letting our staff have a well
deserved evening off☺️
