The 1865 is Southampton's independent grassroots music and events venue managed by The Talking Heads (Southampton) Ltd. With a capacity of more than 750 for standing only gigs, over 500 for club nights or 200-300 seated theatre style. Inside is a great space with stage and dancefloor viewable from two bars and a large mezzanine. Featuring a top-of-the-range sound system from d&b audio, our flexible seating allows various layouts to suit Live Bands, DJ sets, Comedy, Jazz and Cabaret as well as larger corporate or private functions.

Fleetwood Collective is a collaboration between some of Southampton’s finest musicians who have taken on the joyous task of meticulously recreating the Fleetwood Mac live shows, from their glorious peak in the 1970s and 80s. Songs featured in the set include all the classic fan favourites such as Rhiannon, The Chain and Go Your Own Way, as well as hidden gems, solo hits and album tracks, along with one or two surprises from the early years.

Fleetwood Collective places a paramount emphasis on capturing the essence of Fleetwood Mac’s musical and physical style, steering clear of mimicry and eschewing the use of wigs. Instead, they channel their energy into recreating the distinctive guitar tones, intricate song structures, and the enchanting three-part harmonies that propelled Fleetwood Mac to global acclaim.

Above all, Fleetwood Collective is on a mission to deliver the music of Fleetwood Mac with the same fervour and commitment to performance that characterized the real band during their illustrious heyday.

The Rezillos are a punk/new wave band formed in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1976.

Their independent debut single, ‘I Can’t Stand My Baby’ shot them to underground fame initially via airings on the radio show of BBC Radio 1’s John Peel.
Their follow up classic singles ‘My Baby Does Good Sculptures’, ‘Top of the Pops’ and ‘Destination Venus’ signalled critically acclaimed milestones for the band.

The Rezillos recorded their landmark album ‘Can’t Stand the Rezillos’ in New York’s fabled Power Station studio, immersed themselves in the local music scene and dropped in during downtime to play a gig at CBGB’s, the hub of Punk Rock music. The album reached the top 10 in the UK album chart and is lauded as a punk classic.
