Thank you to all those talented kids that carved a pumpkin for the Hare and Hounds competition

In third place, very well crafted and artistic but not so scary, it made us laugh a little!

In joint second place, lots of effort gone in and would frighten anyone with those scary teeth and eyes!

In first place, we liked the inventive teeth, it’s simple but pure evil!

Happy new week to all…

It’s a bit miserable today and we had a few power outages yesterday but we are open as normal now…

….the fire is lit, the b**r is chilled, the coffee machine bubbling and the chefs are raring to go…

As you know we are very dog friendly in the bar…so a couple of snaps to blow away the dull day…

He’s the beautiful Bertie, dancing for his roast beef treat…

And the adorable Sheba who we said was a wolf in sheep’s clothing… but the dog parents say she’s mainly a sheep!
