Morning

This Saturday I’ll be heading over to Skipton, the historic market town known as the “Gateway to the Dales”, famous for its well-preserved medieval castle and bustling market.

I’ll be spending part of the day at the beer festival before exploring a variety of pubs and micropubs around the town.

MAY 30/31st - TURNING POINT TAP TAKEOVER

We've been waiting for this one for a long time! The whole Narrow Boat team are delighted to showcase some amazing beers from on the last weekend of the month. Expect full-bodied stouts, easy-drinking pales, dank IPAs and... Custard????

We've managed to get our hands on a spectacular selection of their beers for the weekend, so definitely make sure you pay us a visit.

Our quiz will be running on the Sunday evening from 7-9 (approximately) and YOU could be in with a chance of winning a £50 voucher to be spent at any Kirkstall Brewery site. Not one to be missed ✅

4 keg lines and 3 cask lines will be dedicated to their beers WHILE STOCKS LAST.

A social occasion for bookworms who fancy a bit of company. It's a great opportunity to meet others, find out about what they're reading and share what you're enjoying too!

This is a BYOB (bring your own book) event 📖

7:30-8pm: chat and drinks
8-9pm: dedicated reading time
9pm onwards: more chat and drinks.

DEYA RETURN TO THE NARROW BOAT - SAT 28TH & SUN 29TH MARCH

We're delighted to have DEYA return to our taps for our March tap takeover. 4 keg beers and a hand-selected cask ale will make sure that there's something here for everyone!

One of the stars of the show this month is this years release of GLUE, 6.5% IPA bursting at the seams with sticky sweet tropical and citrus notes. We can't WAIT to try it.

Come and join us over the weekend and sample some of the delights that this award winning Cheltenham-based brewery have to offer!

Cloudwater is an independent brewery established in 2015, focused on creating exciting craft beer and community experiences. Having just celebrated 11 years, expect an eclectic tap list showcasing everything that makes Cloudwater such a special brewery and a major part of the Manchester craft beer scene, and beyond!

At the Narrowboat, we will have 2 cask and 4 exciting keg lines pouring. We can't wait for you all to try them & we hope that you love them as much as we loved making them for you!"

KIRKSTALL CASK CLUB FEB RELEASE - CITRA

February's release for cask club is Citra. It's a Single Hop IPA, which has been going down really well here this week.

Bursting with grapefruit, peach and lemon notes, it’s a real crowd-pleaser.
